Years ago, I read an article about a therapist who charged over $500 per session. I found this laughable and actually somewhat disturbing, given the number of people who were apparently waiting for his services instead of seeking out the help they needed from another provider. The reason: they wanted “the best.” While some therapists are more qualified than others, it is important to remember that good therapy is at least somewhat an art.
