Almond Butter

  • raw almonds
  • almond oil
  • sea salt
  • Champion Juicer

Run almonds through your juicer with the blank screen in place, drizzling with oil to help process. Add a dash of sea salt and stir. Serve with baby carrots and celery.

Frozen Banana Ice Cream

  • frozen bananas, peel and freeze in ziploks
  • frozen berries, optional
  • Champion Juicer

Run frozen fruits through your juicer with the blank screen in place and you have the most wonderful fresh tasting ice cream.

Kiwi Dressing

  • 2 kiwis, peeled
  • 3T olive oil
  • 2T raw apple cider vinegar
  • 2T raw honey
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

Process all in food processor til creamy.

Great over baby greens and blueberries with pecans!

Munchies

Soak your favorite raw nuts and/or seeds in hot sauce or tamari and dehydrate til crispy!

Packing Ideas for Kids

  • Water bottle!!
  • Apples
  • Bananas, God didn't make them in bunches so we'd eat just one!
  • Baggies of grapes
  • Dried banana chips
  • Dried dates
  • Dried figs
  • Baggies of raw nuts-almonds, sunflower seeds, filberts, brazil nuts, cashews, pecans etc.

Cooked Food Ideas

  • Baked sweet potatoes
  • Baked potatoes
  • Whole grain bread
  • Whole grain pasta and sauce
  • Stir fry with brown rice
  • Steamed veggies

Vegan Junk Food

Once or twice a week, we indulge in vegan junk food. Here is a brief list of some of the stuff that is available these days. Remember, this counts towards your 25-0% cooked portions for the day!!!

  • BOCA Products-burgers, sausages, nuggets
  • Michael Seasons' Chips
  • natural peanut butter
  • unsweetened jellies
  • soy or rice yogurt
  • Fantastic Brand sloppy joe and taco mixes
